Welcome to Lebanon Kick Boxing

Mark Worley is the class instructor for this course.  He began his study of the martial arts in 1975, studying Okinawan Shorinryu Karate.  He served in the U.S Army from 1978 to 1981 where he continued his training with the U.S. Army Full Contact Karate team in Garlstedt, West Germany.  He has been affiliated with law enforcement since 1987, and is certified through the State of Ohio as an instructor in Defensive Tactics, ASP/Straight Baton, and CS/OC (Chemical Repellants, i.e. Mace) to name a few.

Mark has maintained his training in Okinawan Karate, having received his third-degree black belt in 2000.  He also owned and was the chief instructor of the Lebanon Karate Dojo.  He has trained in Los Angeles California with Masters Soke Takayuki Kubota, Soke Takayoshi Nagamine, and attended seminars with notable masters Guru Dan Inosanto and Muay Thai Master Ajarn Chai.

Wanting to expand in his knowledge of the martial arts, he began training in Muay Thai kickboxing and has been avidly involved in that art.  He has also taught numerous women’s self-defense classes since 1995, and has been featured on radio stations WMMA, Mix 94.1, The Western Star, and Channel 12 on self-defense topics.
